eBay Strike Through and Hide/Add to Cart Price

In PSS you have the ability to manipulate how your discounted price is presented to your potential buyer.

Note: To see some of these features working properly you need to be logged out as a seller.  You must view the listings as if you were a buyer otherwise they will not display properly.

We consider discounted price to be any amount below the MSRP provided by the distributors.  MSRP can be discounted in PSS by both Price Rules and Price Overrides.  The default display of a price below MSRP is "Strike Through".  This displays the List Price with a line through it and the Savings/Discount amount in Red.

NOTE: This is the default setting for displaying a discounted price in PSS however, Strike must be enable on your eBay account.  If discounted prices are not displaying as Strike Through you will want to open a ticket with support@powersporsupport.com and have them get it turned on with the eBay team.

Discount Pricing Details - Hide/Add to Cart During Checkout and Pre-Checkout

Other than the default Strike mentioned above there are two options to hide price.  Both are managed out of the eBay listing templates in PSS and are labeled "Discount Pricing Details".  Here is a screen shot of what it looks like on the Listing Template.

Option 1: During Checkout
- Specifies that the discounted price must be shown on the eBay checkout flow page.

Option 2: Pre-Checkout - Specifies that the buyer must click a link (or a button) to navigate to a separate page (or window) that displays the discount price. eBay displays the discounted item price in a pop-up window.

NOTE: Add/Hide to cart must be enable on your eBay account.  If discounted prices are not displaying as Add/Hide to cart you will want to open a ticket with support@powersporsupport.com and have them get it turned on with the eBay team.
