Settings are Important
It's tempting to skip straight to listing products — but the settings covered here are what make everything downstream work correctly. Dealers who skip this step are the ones who come back later asking why their prices are wrong or their inventory shows as unavailable. Give this 15 minutes now.
🎥 Insert video here: a quick tour of the Settings & Configurations category, showing where each setting lives.
What happens if you skip this
- Distributors not connected → your catalog won't have the products, pricing or stock you expect.
- Inventory Rules not set → products can show as unavailable even when you have stock.
- Marketplaces not set up properly → unwanted listings could go online.
- Lightspeed not configured → the system won't pull the price & inventory that you expect it to.
- Pricing Rules not set → your marketplace listings may be priced above competitors.
