Orders Overview

When something sells on eBay or Amazon, PSS brings the order into one place: the Orders module. From there you can see what sold, print packing slips, and send tracking back to the marketplace. This article covers how orders arrive and what you can do with them.

How orders come into PSS

Once your marketplace account is connected, PSS imports your orders automatically. There's nothing to enter by hand.

  • Frequency: PSS checks for new orders throughout the day, about every 15 minutes. An order usually shows up within minutes, though it can occasionally take a few hours.
  • History: when you first connect, PSS pulls in your past orders for reference. It doesn't take any action on them.
  • Payments: eBay and Amazon process all payments and pay out to your bank. PSS records the payment status but never handles your money.

📌 Key Point: Using the Orders module is optional. Some dealers run fulfillment entirely in PSS. Others use the marketplace's own tools or shipping software like ShipWorks. The one thing to do in PSS either way is upload tracking. See Shipping Orders & Uploading Tracking.

Read an order

Click View on any order to open it. It's laid out like a packing slip.

Section What it shows
Order Notes The SKU the buyer purchased, plus notes on how PSS sourced it
Ship To / Bill To The buyer's shipping and billing details
Order ID PSS's internal order number
Marketplace Order ID The eBay or Amazon order number. Use it to look the order up in Seller Hub or Seller Central.
Order Items Product, MPN, the Fulfilling SKU (which distributor PSS sourced it from), quantity, shipping, tax and total

💡 Pro Tip: Check the Fulfilling SKU before you order the part. It tells you which distributor PSS based the listing on, so you buy from the right place. See Inventory Rules & Lead Times for how PSS picks the source.

  • One order: click View, then Print.
  • Several orders: select the orders in the list, then click Print Selected.

Export orders

  1. Select the orders you want in the list.
  2. Click Export. Add an email address for a notification if you'd like, and optionally mark the orders as User Downloaded.
  3. Download the file from the File Center. It's listed as "Client: Export Orders."
