Why we do it This Way
We understand that when it comes to inventory updates more is often better. And we understand that our updates might not be as frequent as you are used to. However, there is logic to why PSS cannot provide multiple updates per day.
PSS aggregates inventories for a single product across multiple distributors. Some of which may or may not update their inventory and price files only once per day. If we were to recalculate inventories that included what might be considered an out of date inventory file there exists a potential to show items with higher stock levels than there actually.
Prices and general listing data work a little differently. At any point in time if you require an immediate price, product, or listing update please open a ticket and we will comply by submitting fresh feeds to eBay.
