Price Overrides: Import/Export
Price Overrides let you set an exact sale price for specific products on specific marketplaces. This overrides any pricing rules or MSRP calculations.
Import Price Overrides
Location: File Center > Price Overrides > "Client: Import Price Overrides"

On the left-hand menu under Price Overrides, click "Client: Import Price Overrides"
Step 1 - Download Template
Download the Compatible File Template which is in the blue hyperlink. Open the File Template from your computer.
For this template and any others in Ecommerce, make sure that you review the developer notes so that you can ensure that your file meets Ecommerce specifications.

Step 2 - Populate Template With Data
Open the csv file that you just downloaded. This template has four (4) columns, some of which are optional. Below we offer an explanation of what each column header represents.

Template Columns:
| Column | Description | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog.name | Which catalog the SKU belongs to: AFTERMARKET , OEM , or PRIVATE |
Yes |
| Source.name | Target marketplace: eBay , Amazon , or Webstore |
Yes |
| DistributorPart.distributor_sku | The distributor SKU in Ecommerce format with the proper prefix | Yes |
| PriceOverride.price | The exact price for this SKU on this marketplace. Must be a decimal number without the $ symbol. Example: 43.99 |
Yes |

Key Details:
- To set a price override on multiple marketplaces for the same SKU, list it on separate rows — one per marketplace.
- To clear an existing override, leave the PriceOverride.price cell empty for that row.
- Prices must be formatted as valid decimal numbers (
43.99or87.00, NOT$43.99or87). - *Make sure that you review the notes for using this template. After you review the notes simply clear the contents of rows 3-7 so that you are working with an empty template.
Step 3 - Upload Your Data
When you click "Client: Import Price Overrides" you will see "Choose File" next to File Upload. Click this button to locate the file on your computer. Double click your file and it will be ready to go in Ecommerce.
Enter your email address if you want to be notified when the job is complete. (optional).
Click Submit
Step 4 - Monitor Job Processing
You will want to monitor the Price Override Job that you just ran in File Center. The job will be in a Pending or Processing status until Ecommerce has completed it. These jobs typically take 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the CSV file.
Once finished you will see the job Completed or Complete w/ Warnings. Click on the job and you will have access to a Processing Report. Open the report and the success or failure of each line item will be reported.
Export Price Overrides
Location: File Center > Price Overrides > "Client: Export Applied Price Overrides"
Exports all currently applied price overrides across your account into a downloadable CSV. Useful for auditing your current pricing or as a starting point for bulk updates.
