Product Exclusions
What is it?
Product Exclusions let you control which products appear on your webstore. You can filter by vehicle/activity type to only show products relevant to your business, exclude entire brands you don't want displayed to customers, or hide specific brands from individual categories.
All Product Exclusion settings are found under Webstore > Product Exclusions.
Category-level brand exclusions are managed separately under Webstore > Categories.
There are three types of exclusions:
| Type | What It Does | Where to Find It |
|---|---|---|
| Activity Types | Only shows products that match your selected vehicle/activity types | Webstore > Product Exclusions (top section) |
| Brand Exclusions (Global) | Removes a brand from your entire webstore | Webstore > Product Exclusions (bottom section) |
| Category Brand Exclusions | Removes a brand from a specific category and its subcategories only | Webstore > Categories > (select a category) > Brand Exclusions |
Which Type Should I Use?
| I want to... | Use |
|---|---|
| Only show products for the vehicle types I sell | Activity Types |
| Hide all street bike parts because I only sell powersports | Activity Types — select only the types you carry |
| Hide a brand from my entire webstore | Brand Exclusions (Global) |
| Hide a brand from one section of my store but keep it visible elsewhere | Category Brand Exclusions |
| Stop selling a brand's products entirely online | Brand Exclusions (Global) |
| Prevent a brand from appearing in a specific category due to miscategorization | Category Brand Exclusions |
| Temporarily remove a brand while resolving a pricing or MAP issue | Brand Exclusions (Global) — remove the exclusion when resolved |
