Activity Types

Activity Types let you filter your entire webstore by vehicle or activity category. Many aftermarket products in the catalog are tagged with an activity type that describes what kind of vehicle they are designed for. By selecting the activity types relevant to your dealership, only matching products (and products with no activity type) will appear on your webstore.


How to Get There

  1. From the main menu, go to Webstore
  2. Click Product Exclusions
  3. The Activity Types setting is at the top of the page

  • Street Bike

How to Set Activity Types

  1. On the Product Exclusions page, find the Activity Types section at the top
  2. Select every activity type that is relevant to your business (you can select multiple)
  3. Click Save

How It Works

Activity Types is an inclusion filter — you choose what to show, not what to hide.

  • Products tagged with a selected activity type will appear on your webstore
  • Products tagged with an unselected activity type will be hidden
  • Products with no activity type will always appear regardless of your selections (most general-use parts and accessories have no activity type)

Example: Your dealership sells ATVs and Side x Sides. You select "ATV" and "Side x Side." Now:

  • ATV-specific products appear on your webstore
  • Side x Side-specific products appear on your webstore
  • Street Bike-specific products are hidden
  • A universal oil filter with no activity type still appears

What If I Don't Select Any Activity Types?

If no activity types are selected, only products with no activity type will appear on your webstore. Products tagged with any activity type will be hidden. In most cases you will want to select at least the activity types that match the vehicles you sell.


Important Notes

  • Activity Type filtering applies to your entire webstore — there is no per-category option
  • This setting works alongside Brand Exclusions. A product must pass both filters to appear on the webstore (correct activity type AND brand not excluded)
  • Changes take effect after you click Save
