Order Automation: Setup
Order Automation lets you drop-ship: when an order comes in, you send it straight to the distributor from PSS, and they ship directly to your buyer. You never touch the part, never log into the distributor's portal, and PSS brings the tracking back and sends it to the marketplace for you.

How it works
- An order comes in from eBay, Amazon or your webstore.
- You review it in PSS and click Drop Ship on the item.
- PSS sends the purchase order to the distributor.
- The distributor ships to your buyer.
- PSS pulls the tracking from the distributor and sends it to the marketplace. The buyer is notified.
📌 Key Point: Nothing is sent to a distributor until you click Drop Ship. You review and confirm every order, so you always get a chance to check it first.

Before you configure
Drop-shipping depends on your inventory setup. Only products that qualify for drop-ship, with a 1-day lead time, can be sent through Order Automation. Set your drop-ship cutoffs first. See Inventory Rules & Lead Times.
Configure Order Automation
Once it's enabled, go to Settings > Integration Settings > Order Automation. [Confirm the menu path.] The page has four sections:

You only need to fill in the distributors you want to use. Click Save at the bottom of the page. PSS checks your credentials when you save.
⚠️ Warning: Leave Override Drop-Ship Rules off. It skips the safety checks in your inventory rules, so items that shouldn't be drop-shipped can be sent to a distributor.
💡 Pro Tip: Western Powersports needs your Tax ID on file before it will accept drop-ship orders. Confirm with WPS before your first order. For Parts Unlimited and Automatic, place one order in Test Mode to check your setup, then turn Test Mode off.
