ShippingEasy

ShippingEasy is web-based shipping software. Once it's connected, PSS sends your eBay and Amazon orders to ShippingEasy automatically. You compare carrier rates and buy labels there, and the tracking comes back to PSS and goes on to the marketplace. There's no copying order details or tracking numbers between systems.

What you'll learn

  • How orders and tracking move between PSS and ShippingEasy
  • How to connect your ShippingEasy account
  • How to avoid duplicate orders

How it works

  1. An order comes into PSS from eBay, Amazon or your webstore.
  2. PSS sends it to ShippingEasy within minutes, marked "awaiting shipment."
  3. You buy a label and ship in ShippingEasy, using your own carrier accounts.
  4. PSS picks up the tracking number, adds a note to the order and sends the tracking to the marketplace.

📌 Key Point: PSS only sends orders from the last 6 weeks that haven't shipped and haven't already been sent. Each order goes to ShippingEasy once.

What you need before you start

  • A ShippingEasy account (sign up at shippingeasy.com)
  • Your own FedEx, UPS and/or USPS accounts, connected inside ShippingEasy. PSS doesn't provide carrier accounts.
  • Your PSS dashboard address, like yourdealership.app.powersportsupport.com

Connect ShippingEasy

Step 1: Add PSS as a store in ShippingEasy

  1. In ShippingEasy, go to Settings > Stores & Orders and click Add New.
  2. For the platform, choose ShippingEasy API.
  3. Enter your PSS dashboard address without "www," like yourdealership.app.powersportsupport.com.
  4. Save. The new store appears under Stores & Orders with its Store API Key.

Step 2: Get your account API credentials

In ShippingEasy, go to Settings > API Credentials and copy your Account API Key and Account API Secret.

Step 3: Enter them in PSS

  1. In PSS, go to Settings > ShippingEasy.
  2. Paste the Account API Key, Account API Secret and Store API Key.
  3. Leave Store URL and Store Callback Path as they are. They're filled in for you.
  4. Click Save.

Avoid duplicate orders

If ShippingEasy is also connected straight to your eBay or Amazon account, the same order can show up twice: once from PSS and once from the marketplace.

⚠️ Warning: Prevent duplicates one of two ways. Either disconnect the direct eBay and Amazon connections inside ShippingEasy, or check Managed Orders Only on the ShippingEasy settings page in PSS. With it checked, PSS only sends orders from listings PSS created.

💡 Pro Tip: Use one shipping tool at a time. Running ShippingEasy and ShipWorks together can create duplicate shipments and conflicting tracking.

Check an order's status

Every order shows its ShippingEasy status in its order notes in PSS:

  • "Order was successfully pushed to ShippingEasy"
  • "Tracking number received from ShippingEasy"
  • "There was a problem pushing order to ShippingEasy"
