Lizzy DMS

If your dealership runs Lizzy DMS, PSS can connect to it in both directions. Your shelf quantities come into PSS every morning, so your eBay and Amazon listings sell what you actually have. Your online orders go to Lizzy every hour, so nobody has to re-key them.

What you'll learn

  • What the Lizzy integration syncs, and when
  • How to connect Lizzy and map your vendors
  • How to fix inventory or orders that don't sync

What syncs, and when

Sync Direction When What it does
Inventory Lizzy → PSS Daily, 4:00–5:00 AM Pacific Updates shelf quantities, and optionally prices, for matched parts
Orders PSS → Lizzy Every hour, around the clock Sends new eBay, Amazon and webstore orders from the last 7 days

📌 Key Point: Lizzy stock is treated as shelf inventory, which is first in line to fill an order, with a 0-day lead time. See Inventory Rules & Lead Times. If your dealership uses Lightspeed instead, see Lightspeed.

What you need before you start

  • Your Lizzy API key and Webstore ID. Get both from Lizzy technical support. The Webstore ID also appears in parentheses next to your webstore name in the Lizzy Webstore Interface.
  • Your vendor names exactly as they appear in Lizzy, usually in all capitals, like PARTS UNLIMITED or TUCKER ROCKY.

Step 1: Connect Lizzy

  1. Go to Settings > Module Settings > Lizzy DMS.
  2. Paste your API Key and enter your Webstore ID.
  3. Click Save.

Step 2: Map your vendors

Vendor mapping tells PSS which catalog and distributor each Lizzy vendor belongs to. Without it, nothing syncs. Add a row for every vendor you want to sync:

Field What to enter
Catalog Aftermarket, OEM or Private
Manufacturer / Distributor The matching distributor or manufacturer in PSS
Vendor Name The name exactly as Lizzy shows it. It's case-sensitive.
Use Pricing Check it to use Lizzy's list price. Leave it unchecked to keep your PSS pricing.

⚠️ Warning: If a vendor name doesn't match Lizzy exactly, including capitalization, that vendor's parts are skipped and show as "Unrecognized Vendor" in the sync report.

One Lizzy vendor can map to more than one distributor. Add a row for each with the same vendor name.

Step 3: Choose your sync settings

Setting What it does Recommended
Clear Previous Quantities Resets all shelf quantities to zero before each daily sync, so old counts can't linger On
Disabled Days Days of the week to skip the inventory sync Days your inventory data isn't updated

Save, and the first inventory sync runs the next morning. Orders start syncing within the hour.

After orders reach Lizzy

⚠️ Warning: PSS delivers orders to Lizzy's queue, but someone at your dealership has to import them in the Lizzy Webstore Interface. Until that's done, they won't appear in your Lizzy workflow.

Each order is sent once. PSS marks it as delivered and won't send it again. If Lizzy is unreachable, PSS retries on the next hourly run.

Troubleshooting

What you see Likely cause What to do
Nothing syncs at all Missing or wrong API key Re-check the key in Settings > Lizzy DMS, or ask Lizzy for a new one
Sync runs, but no quantities change No vendor mappings Add at least one vendor mapping
Some parts update, others don't A vendor name doesn't match, or a part number isn't in your catalog Look for "Unrecognized Vendor" in the sync report, and check that the part exists in PSS
Orders aren't reaching Lizzy Wrong Webstore ID Match it to the number next to your webstore in Lizzy
Orders reach Lizzy but don't show up Not imported yet Import them in the Lizzy Webstore Interface
Prices don't update Use Pricing is unchecked Check Use Pricing for that vendor
Quantities reset to zero Clear Previous Quantities is on (this is expected) Turn it off if you don't want a fresh start each day
